1. Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine crab meat, cream cheese, chopped green onions, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
2. Fill the Wontons
Place a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Put a small spoonful of the crab filling in the center of the wrapper. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to create a triangle, and press the edges to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.
3. Fry the Crab Angels
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the filled wontons in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
4. Serve
Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
