Fettuccine Marinara Ingredients
Method
Fettuccine Marinara Directions
- 1
Cook the Fettuccine
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the roasted garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 3
Add Tomatoes
Pour in the crushed San Marzano tomatoes and stir well. Season with salt and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 4
Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the marinara sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce.
- 5
Add Fresh Basil
Stir in the fresh basil leaves and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the basil is wilted.
- 6
Serve
Plate the fettuccine marinara and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste. Serve hot.
