Pork Loin Marinade

Sweet Thai Chile Brussels Sprouts

Method

Pork Loin Preparation

  1. 1

    Make Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and chopped green onions to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate Pork Loin

Add the pork loin to the marinade, ensuring it is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. 3

    Preheat Grill

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the pork loin from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.

  4. 4

    Grill Pork Loin

Grill the pork loin for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  5. 5

    Rest Pork Loin

Once cooked, allow the pork to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Pommes Aligot Preparation

  1. 6

    Boil Potatoes

Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 7

    Drain Potatoes

Cook the potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.

  3. 8

    Make Cream Mixture

In the same pot, add the heavy cream, butter, and minced garlic. Return the heat to low and stir until the butter is melted.

  4. 9

    Mix Potatoes with Cream

Add the drained potatoes back to the pot and mash until smooth. Stir in the grated Gruyère cheese until melted and creamy.

  5. 10

    Season and Serve

Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then serve warm.

Sweet Thai Chile Brussels Sprouts Preparation

  1. 11

    Prepare Brussels Sprouts

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in a bowl with olive oil, sweet Thai chili sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 12

    Arrange on Baking Sheet

Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 13

    Roast Brussels Sprouts

Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy, tossing halfway through.

  4. 14

    Serve Brussels Sprouts

Remove from the oven and serve warm alongside the grilled pork loin and pommes aligot.
