Prepare Salmon Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure the salmon is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
