Prepare the Pork Shanks
Season the pork shanks with salt and black pepper. Heat vegetable oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Sear the pork shanks on all sides until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Braise the Pork
Pour in the chicken broth and teriyaki sauce, ensuring the pork shanks are submerged. Bring to a simmer, then cover the pot and transfer it to a preheated oven at 300°F (150°C). Braise for 2-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falling off the bone.

Finish and Serve
Remove the pot from the oven and let the pork shanks rest for 10 minutes. Serve topped with chopped scallions and crushed peanuts.
