Prepare Chicken
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with bread crumbs.

Cook Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Bake Chicken
Transfer the cooked chicken to a baking dish. Pour marinara sauce over each piece of chicken, then top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Cook Pasta
While the chicken is baking, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Combine and Serve
Serve the cooked penne pasta topped with sautéed peppers and onions. Place the baked chicken on top and garnish with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
