Method
Prepare Ingredients
Prep fruit
Wash and hull the strawberries. Peel the banana and cut into 1-inch chunks. If using large ice cubes or a sorbet scoop, have them ready. Measure out the yogurt, soy protein powder, cranberry juice, and sorbetto.
If using a powdered multi-vitamin or greens supplement, check the package for recommended dosing and use approximately 1 teaspoon (or the recommended single serving) to avoid overdosing on vitamins.
Blend
Layer in blender
Add the cranberry juice (3 fl oz) to the blender first to help liquids grasp the blades. Next add the yogurt, soy protein powder, and multi-vitamin powder (if using).
Add the fresh strawberries and banana chunks on top of the liquid and powders. Add the orange sorbetto (1 scoop) and ice cubes.
Blend to smooth
Secure the blender lid and blend on medium-high for 45–75 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and no large fruit pieces remain. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula once if needed, then blend again for 10–15 seconds.
Taste the smoothie and if you prefer it sweeter, add 1 teaspoon honey or agave and pulse-blend for 5 seconds to incorporate.
Finish & Serve
Pour the smoothie into a 16–20 oz glass. Sprinkle the chia seeds or ground flaxseed on top (optional) and garnish with the halved strawberry or banana slice on the rim.
Serve immediately with a straw. If you intend to take it on the go, transfer to an insulated bottle and consume within 2–3 hours for best freshness and nutrient retention.
