Method
Smoothie Base
Prepare fruit
If using fresh pineapple, core and chop so you have 1 cup of diced pineapple. If using fresh berries, rinse and drain them; if frozen, measure directly from the bag (no need to thaw).
Add the diced pineapple, blueberries, raspberries, 1 cup cranberry juice, and 1 cup yogurt into a blender.
Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the blender to chill and thicken the smoothie. If you prefer a thinner consistency, reduce ice to 1/2 cup or add an extra 2–4 tablespoons (30–60 ml) of cranberry juice or water.
Optional: Add 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup and 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice to brighten the flavors and lightly sweeten if needed.
Secure the blender lid and blend on high for 45–60 seconds, or until the mixture is completely smooth and no large pieces remain. Stop and scrape down the sides once if needed, then blend again for 5–10 seconds.
Taste and adjust: if the smoothie is too tart, add up to 1 more teaspoon of honey; if too thick, add 2–4 tablespoons cranberry juice and blend briefly.
Finish & Serve
If using chia seeds, stir them into the finished smoothie or sprinkle on top (they will thicken slightly if left to sit).
Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses (approximately 12–14 oz / 350–420 ml each).
Garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge or skewered blueberries on the rim, if desired.
Serve immediately with a straw.
