Garlic Tamari Chili Glaze

Pesto Aioli

Optional Toppings

Method

Prepare the Chicken

  1. 1

    Season the Chicken

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels. Season generously with maple bacon seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil and cook the chicken thighs for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from heat and let rest.

Make the Glaze

  1. 3

    Combine the Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine tamari sauce, honey, minced garlic, and red chili flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  2. 4

    Glaze the Chicken

Once the chicken is cooked, brush the tamari chili glaze over the chicken thighs until well coated.

Prepare the Pesto Aioli

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, pesto sauce, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Stack

  1. 6

    Layer the Ingredients

On a serving plate, place a layer of lettuce, add a glazed chicken thigh on top, drizzle with pesto aioli, and top with sliced tomatoes and cheese. Repeat to create a stack.
