Preparing the Vodka Battered Cod

Make the batter
In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Gradually whisk in the vodka until smooth and well combined.

Cook the fish
Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Dip each cod fillet into the batter, allowing excess to drip off, and carefully lower into the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making the Dill Tartar Sauce

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, dill pickles, fresh dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Making the Mushy Peas

Cook the peas
In a saucepan, bring water to a boil and add the frozen peas. Cook for 3-5 minutes until tender. Drain and return to the pan.

Preparing the Beer Battered Fries

Make the batter
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, beer, and salt until smooth.

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Dip potato fries into the batter and carefully lower into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Serving

Serve the vodka battered cod with dill tartar sauce, mushy peas, and beer battered fries on the side. Garnish with lemon wedges.
