Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Waffle Iron

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.

  3. 3

    Mix Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.

  5. 5

    Cook the Waffles

Lightly grease the waffle iron with cooking spray or oil. Pour the batter onto the hot waffle iron, using about 1/2 to 2/3 cup of batter per waffle, depending on the size of your iron. Close the lid and cook until the waffles are golden brown and crisp, typically about 5 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Carefully remove the waffles from the iron and serve immediately with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
