Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Macaroni

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cook the Prime Rib

Add the thinly shaved prime rib to the skillet with the onions and peppers. Cook until the meat is browned and heated through, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheese sauce, and the sautéed prime rib mixture. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

  6. 6

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac-n-cheese mixture to a greased baking dish. Top with breadcrumbs for a crunchy texture.

  7. 7

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  8. 8

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve warm with breadsticks on the side.
