Method

Eggs Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, heat butter or oil over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the whites are set and the yolks are at your desired level of doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.). Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Meat Preparation

  1. 2

    Cook the Meat

In the same skillet, add bacon, sausage, or grilled ham. Cook bacon until crispy (about 3-4 minutes per side), sausage until browned and cooked through (about 6-8 minutes), or heat ham slices until warmed (about 2-3 minutes). Remove from skillet and keep warm.

Potato Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare Smash'd! American Potatoes

In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the American potatoes. Cook until fork-tender (about 10-15 minutes). Drain and return to the pot. Mash slightly, add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until combined and fluffy.

  2. 4

    Cook Crispy Hashbrown Coins

If you prefer hashbrown coins, grate potatoes and form them into small coins. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, then add the grated potatoes. Cook until golden brown and crispy on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Season with salt.
