Ingredients

For the Chick'n Tenders

For the Golden Fries

Preparation

Preparing the Chick'n Tenders

1. Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Bread the Chick'n Tenders

Dip each chick'n tender first into the flour, ensuring it's fully coated. Shake off excess flour. Then, dip into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the crumbs adhere well.

3. Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat 2 cups of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

4. Fry the Tenders

Carefully place the breaded chick'n tenders into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Use a slotted spoon to remove and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Preparing the Golden Fries

5. Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips for fries.

6. Soak the Fries

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This removes excess starch and helps make them crispy.

7. Drain and Dry

After soaking, drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

8. Fry the Fries

In another deep frying pan or pot, heat 2 cups of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the potatoes in batches until they are golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with salt immediately.
