Fries

Philly Chick'n

Mango Habanero Cream Cheese

Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Fry the Potatoes

Preheat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 180°C (350°F). Carefully add the frozen French fries to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 4-5 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove them with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  2. 2

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle salt over them to taste. Toss gently to ensure the fries are evenly coated.

Cooking the Philly Chick'n

  1. 3

    Sauté the Chick'n

In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the plant-based chick'n strips. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are heated through and slightly crispy. Season with black pepper during the cooking process.

  2. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Once the chick'n is cooked, sprinkle shredded pepper jack cheese over the top. Cover the skillet with a lid and let it sit for about 2-3 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

Making the Mango Habanero Cream Cheese

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine 200g of cream cheese, 3 tablespoons of mango puree, 1 tablespoon of habanero sauce, and 1 teaspoon of garlic powder. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed and smooth.

  2. 6

    Add Chives

Fold in the chopped chives for added flavor and texture.

Assembling the Load'd! Bacon Fries Basket

  1. 7

    Layer the Fries

On a large serving platter or basket, layer the crispy fries as the base.

  2. 8

    Top with Philly Chick'n

Spoon the sautéed Philly chick'n with melted cheese over the fries.

  3. 9

    Drizzle the Cream Cheese

Finally, drizzle the mango habanero cream cheese over the top of the loaded fries. Serve immediately and enjoy!
