Method

Cooking the Mac

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Add 1 tsp of salt to the water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Macaroni

Add 2 cups of macaroni to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions (usually about 7-10 minutes) until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Philly Chick'n

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 cup of diced onion and 1 cup of diced bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are soft.

  2. 4

    Cook the Chick'n

Add 1 cup of plant-based chick'n strips to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the chick'n is heated through.

Adding the Bacon and Ranch

  1. 5

    Add the Bacon

Stir in 1 cup of chopped plant-based bacon into the skillet with the chick'n and vegetables, mixing well.

  2. 6

    Mix in Ranch Sauce

Pour 1 cup of vegan ranch dressing over the mixture in the skillet and stir until everything is well coated.

Combining and Serving

  1. 7

    Combine with Macaroni

Add the cooked macaroni to the skillet with the chick'n-bacon-ranch mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients.

  2. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the CBR Mac Bowl in individual bowls, garnishing each with 2 tablespoons of chopped chives and black pepper to taste.
