Omelette Preparation

  1. 1

    Whip the Eggs

Crack 3 large eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk them together until fully combined and slightly frothy.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filling

In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add your choice of bacon, sausage, or diced grilled ham. Cook until browned and crispy, then remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and jalapeños. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until softened.

  4. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked meat back into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and mix well.

  5. 5

    Cook the Omelette

Pour the whipped eggs into the skillet over the meat and vegetable mixture. Allow to cook for 2-3 minutes, gently lifting the edges to let uncooked eggs flow underneath.

  6. 6

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle your choice of cheese over one half of the omelette. Once the eggs are set, fold the omelette in half and let the cheese melt for another minute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot with either Smash'd! American potatoes or crispy hashbrown coins on the side.
