Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccine and shrimp to the Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine and heat through.

Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with garlic bread and a choice of soup or salad.
