Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet, let rest, and then slice.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss until well coated. Add the sliced chicken on top.

Serve the Chicken Alfredo immediately with garlic bread and a choice of soup or salad.
