Pork Chops
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Pork Chops
Take the center cut pork chops out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. This helps them cook more evenly.
- 2
Season the Pork Chops
In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice mixture all over the pork chops on both sides.
- 3
Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 4
Cook the Pork Chops
Add the seasoned pork chops to the hot skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and they are nicely browned.
- 5
Rest the Pork Chops
Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest on a plate for about 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute.
- 6
Garnish and Serve
If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy with your choice of potato, soup, or salad.
