Method

Prepare the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Season and Shape

In a bowl, combine the grass-fed beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the beef patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.

Make the White Cheddar Sauce

  1. 3

    Melt and Combine

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually whisk in the white cheddar cheese until smooth. Stir in garlic powder and salt.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 4

    Crisp the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a beef patty, top with white cheddar sauce, crispy bacon, fried onions, pickles, and a dollop of garlic aioli. Close with the top half of the bun.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate and Enjoy

Serve the Wisconsin Cheddar Burger with a side of French fries or onion rings.
