Burger Preparation

1

Prepare the Beef

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix gently until combined.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty. Place a slice of pepper jack cheese in the center of 4 patties. Top each with another patty and seal the edges tightly.

3

Cook the Burgers

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the stuffed burgers for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

4

Toast the Buns

During the last few minutes of cooking, place the burger buns cut-side down in the skillet to toast lightly.

5

Assemble the Burgers

Place each stuffed burger on a toasted bun and serve with your favorite toppings.
