Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the bell pepper, zucchini, carrot, and broccoli. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

  2. 3

    Add Cherry Tomatoes

Add the cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until they are slightly softened.

Making Garlic Sauce

  1. 4

    Prepare the Garlic Sauce

In a small pan, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over low heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

Combining Everything

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta, Vegetables, and Sauce

Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the garlic sauce over the pasta, and toss to combine. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 6

    Add Parmesan and Basil

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped basil. Toss again until everything is well combined and heated through.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Pasta Primavera

Divide the Pasta Primavera into bowls and garnish with additional basil and Parmesan if desired. Serve warm.
