Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mussels

Rinse the mussels under cold water and remove any beards or debris. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Garlic

In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Add Wine and Mussels

Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer. Add the cleaned mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened up.

  4. 4

    Finish and Serve

Remove the pot from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Discard any mussels that did not open. Serve the mussels with lemon wedges and grilled baguette slices on the side.
