Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Calamarata pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Once the shrimp are cooked, lower the heat and add the basil pesto and vodka sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

  4. 4

    Mix in Pasta

Add the cooked Calamarata pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional minute to combine all flavors.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the pasta, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately.
