Method
Preparing the Patty
- 1
For the Beef Patty
Form the ground beef into a patty, making a small indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
- 2
For the Vegan Patty
If using a frozen black bean patty, remove it from the packaging and set it aside.
Cooking the Patty
- 3
Cook the Beef Patty
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef patty and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- 4
Cook the Vegan Patty
If using a frozen black bean patty, cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-6 minutes per side in a skillet over medium heat.
Making the Pickle Aioli
- 5
Mix Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, finely chopped dill pickles, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth.
Assembling the Cheeseburger
- 6
Prepare the Bun
Toast the brioche bun lightly in the skillet or toaster until golden brown.
- 7
Add Patty and Toppings
Place the cooked patty on the bottom half of the bun. Layer with tomato slices, lettuce, and pickle slices. Generously spread the pickle aioli on the top half of the bun and place it on top of the burger.
