BBQ Ribs Ingredients

Method

BBQ Ribs Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this spice mixture generously over the ribs, ensuring even coverage.

  3. 3

    Wrap the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a large piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle the apple cider vinegar over the ribs and wrap them tightly in the foil. This will help keep the moisture in.

  4. 4

    Cook the Ribs

Place the wrapped ribs on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender and the meat easily pulls away from the bone.

  5. 5

    Prepare the BBQ Sauce

While the ribs are baking, prepare your BBQ sauce if you're making it from scratch, or simply have your favorite store-bought sauce ready.

  6. 6

    Glaze and Finish Cooking

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs, then return them to the oven (unwrapped) for an additional 30 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to caramelize the sauce.

  7. 7

    Serve

Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before cutting. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
