Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation of the Steak

Remove the sirloin steak from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Seasoning the Steak

Rub the steak on both sides with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and fresh rosemary. Make sure to coat the steak evenly for the best flavor.

  3. 3

    Heating the Pan

Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Allow it to get hot for about 2-3 minutes before adding the steak.

  4. 4

    Searing the Steak

Once the pan is hot, carefully place the seasoned sirloin steak into the skillet. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes on one side, without moving it, to achieve a nice crust.

  5. 5

    Flipping the Steak

Using tongs, flip the steak over and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the cooking time according to your preferred level of doneness.

  6. 6

    Resting the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the steak from the pan and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for a juicier steak.

  7. 7

    Serving the Steak

Slice the sirloin steak against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your perfectly seasoned and seared sirloin!
