Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until melted and smooth.

Mix the Batter
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until thick and pale. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring continuously.

Add Dry Ingredients
Sift the all-purpose flour and salt into the chocolate mixture and gently fold it in until just combined. Do not overmix.

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 2/3 full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.
Serving

Cool and Serve
Allow the cakes to cool for 1 minute before carefully inverting them onto plates. Serve immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
