Coffee Preparation

1. Brew the Coffee

Place the coarse ground Vietnamese coffee in the top chamber of a traditional Vietnamese drip filter (phin).

2. Pour a small amount of hot water (about 30ml) over the coffee grounds to bloom and let it sit for about 30 seconds.

3. Slowly pour the remaining hot water (90ml) into the filter. Allow the coffee to drip through completely, which should take about 4-5 minutes.

4. Combine Coffee and Condensed Milk

In a glass, add the sweetened condensed milk at the bottom.

5. Once the coffee is fully brewed, pour it over the condensed milk in the glass.

Serving

6. Finish and Serve

Fill the glass with ice cubes to your desired level.

7. If desired, add milk or cream to taste and stir well before enjoying.
