In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Gently stir with a spatula or whisk until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter should remain slightly lumpy.
