Method
Preparation
- 1
Chill the Sparkling Wine
Place the bottle of sparkling wine in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to ensure it is well-chilled.
- 2
Juice the Oranges
If using fresh oranges, cut them in half and use a juicer to extract the juice until you have 2 cups of fresh orange juice. If using store-bought juice, ensure it is 100% pure for the best flavor.
Serving
- 3
Mix the Mimosa
In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed orange juice with the chilled sparkling wine. Pour the juice first, followed by the wine, to prevent excessive fizzing.
- 4
Garnish
Serve in champagne flutes. Optionally, garnish with a slice of orange on the rim of each glass and a few mint leaves for a fresh touch.
