Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each fillet is well coated. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 450°F).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes on the first side.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Carefully flip the salmon fillets using a spatula. Grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges and extra fresh dill if desired.
