Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Slice the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Arrange the slices on a baking sheet and brush each slice with olive oil.

Toast the bread in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden and crispy.

While the bread is toasting, dice the ripe tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Cube the fresh mozzarella cheese and add it to the mixture.

Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl.

Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the mixture, and season with salt and black pepper.

Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.

Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.

Spoon a generous amount of the tomato, basil, and mozzarella mixture onto each slice of toasted bread.
