The American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®

The American Wagyu Roast Beef

Method

The American Wagyu Slaw Be Jo®

  1. 1

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and grated carrots.

  2. 2

    Make the Dressing

In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots. Toss until everything is well coated.

  4. 4

    Cook the Wagyu Beef

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the American Wagyu beef until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired level of doneness, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Subs

Slice the sub rolls in half. Layer the American Wagyu beef on the bottom half, then add a generous amount of slaw on top. Place the top half of the roll over the slaw.

The American Wagyu Roast Beef

  1. 6

    Prepare the Roast Beef

Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Season the American Wagyu roast beef with salt and pepper.

  2. 7

    Roast the Beef

Place the roast beef in a roasting pan and cook in the preheated oven until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C) for medium rare, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

  3. 8

    Add Cheese

In the last 10 minutes of roasting, place Swiss cheese slices on top of the beef to melt.

  4. 9

    Prepare the Horseradish Sauce

In a small bowl, mix horseradish sauce with a bit of salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 10

    Assemble the Subs

Slice the sub rolls in half. Layer arugula on the bottom half, followed by the roast beef. Drizzle with horseradish sauce and top with the other half of the roll.
