Method

Preparation

1

Slice the Ingredients

Thinly slice the roasted pork and salami. Grate or slice the smoked provolone cheese. Prepare the pickles by slicing them into thin rounds.

2

Prepare the Bread

Cut the Italian sandwich bread pieces in half lengthwise to create a sandwich base.

Assembly

3

Layer the Sandwich

On the bottom half of each bread piece, layer the sliced roasted pork, followed by the salami, then the smoked provolone cheese. Add the sliced pickles on top.

4

Add Condiments

If desired, spread mustard on the top half of the sandwich and drizzle a little olive oil over the fillings before closing the sandwich.

Cooking

5

Grill the Sandwich

Heat a skillet or panini press over medium heat. Place the assembled sandwich in the skillet and press down gently. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Serving

6

Slice and Serve

Once grilled, remove the sandwich from the heat and let it cool slightly. Slice the sandwich in half diagonally and serve warm.
