Herb Crust Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Herb Mixture

In a medium bowl, combine the chopped parsley, dill, minced garlic, olive oil, breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Coat with Herb Crust

Evenly distribute the herb mixture over the top of each salmon fillet, pressing down gently to ensure it adheres.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Bake the Salmon

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  2. 6

    Char the Lemons

While the salmon is baking, cut the lemons in half. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat and place the lemon halves cut-side down on the pan. Grill for about 3-5 minutes until charred.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Once the salmon is done, remove it from the oven and allow it to rest for a couple of minutes. Serve the herb-crusted salmon with the charred lemon halves on the side.
