Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. 2

    Clean the mushrooms

Rinse the mushrooms under cold water and gently wipe them with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  3. 3

    Prepare the herb mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, thyme leaves, chopped rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  4. 4

    Coat the mushrooms

Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl with the herb mixture. Toss gently to ensure all mushrooms are evenly coated with the oil and herbs.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Arrange on a baking tray

Spread the coated mushrooms in a single layer on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

  2. 6

    Roast the mushrooms

Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and roast the mushrooms for approximately 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender. Toss them halfway through for even cooking.

  3. 7

    Serve

Once roasted, remove the tray from the oven and let the mushrooms cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm as a side dish or appetizer.
