Method
Prepare the Meat
- 1
Cook Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
- 2
Cook Chicken Breast
In a skillet over medium heat, add the diced chicken breast and cook until fully cooked and golden brown, about 7-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
- 3
Cook Shredded Pork
If using pre-cooked shredded pork, simply heat it in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through.
Season the Meat
- 4
Add Seasoning to Ground Beef
Once the ground beef is cooked, sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper over the meat. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
- 5
Add Seasoning to Chicken
For the chicken, add the same spices and stir until evenly coated. Let simmer for 5 minutes.
Assemble the Tacos
- 6
Warm the soft tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side or according to package instructions for crispy taco shells.
- 7
Spoon the seasoned meat into the warm taco shells.
- 8
Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, sliced jalapeños, and cilantro.
- 9
Serve with lime wedges on the side.
