Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir the mixture until it's well combined.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the water and olive oil until they are fully blended.

Mixing and Forming

  1. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients

Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, mixing continuously until a dough forms. The dough should be soft but not sticky.

  2. 4

    Knead the Dough

Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  3. 5

    Roll Out the Dough

Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll each portion out to about 1/8 inch thickness using a rolling pin.

Baking

  1. 6

    Cut and Season

Cut the rolled dough into desired chip shapes (triangles or squares). If using, sprinkle the paprika, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper over the cut chips.

  2. 7

    Bake the Chips

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the chips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and crisp.

  3. 8

    Cool and Serve

Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on a wire rack before serving.
