Burger Patties

Toppings

Buns

Condiments (optional)

Method

Preparing the Patties

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 5

    Slice the Vegetables

While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato into thick rounds, the onion into thin rings, and wash the lettuce leaves.

Toasting the Buns

  1. 6

    Toast the Brioche Buns

In the last minute of cooking the patties, place the brioche buns cut-side down on the grill or skillet to toast for about 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, place a patty, followed by lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onion. Add any desired condiments on top and cover with the other half of the bun.

  2. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your classic burger!
