Chop the Vegetables
Finely chop the jalapeño peppers, garlic cloves, and yellow onion. Set aside.

Combine the Cheese
Reduce heat to low and add the sharp cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and cream cheese to the saucepan. Stir until melted and well combined.

Add Milk and Seasonings
Slowly pour in the milk while continuously stirring. Add ground cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Serving

Serve and Garnish
Pour the cheese dip into a serving bowl. Top with chopped fresh cilantro and sliced jalapeños. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
