Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Blackened Shrimp
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until shrimp are opaque and slightly charred, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- 2
Make the Cream Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the pepper jack cheese until melted and smooth.
- 3
Combine Shrimp and Crab
Add the cooked shrimp and lump crab meat to the cream sauce. Stir gently to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
Spoon the shrimp and crab mixture into the bread bowls. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- 5
Melt the Cheese
Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet and broil in the oven for about 2-3 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Garnish with chopped green onions and serve immediately with tortilla chips on the side.
