Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Ham
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Place the ham in a roasting pan and score the surface in a diamond pattern.
- 2
Make the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, ground cloves, apple cider vinegar, and water. Cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves, stirring occasionally.
- 3
Glaze the Ham
Brush the glaze over the scored ham, ensuring it gets into the cuts for maximum flavor.
- 4
Bake the Ham
Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with the remaining glaze.
- 5
Finish and Serve
Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the glaze to caramelize. Once done, let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
