Prepare the glass
Choose a tall glass and place it on a stable surface.

Add ice cream
Place 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream into the glass.

Pour root beer
Slowly pour 1 cup of Captain Eli’s root beer over the ice cream, allowing it to foam up.

Top it off
Add 2 tablespoons of whipped cream on top of the float.

Finish the float with a maraschino cherry on top.
