Pulled Pork Sandwich Ingredients

Method

Pulled Pork Sandwich Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with the pork rub and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

  2. 2

    Smoke the Pork

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the marinated pork shoulder in the smoker and cook for about 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

  3. 3

    Shred the Pork

Once cooked, remove the pork from the smoker and let it rest for 30 minutes. Then, shred the pork using two forks.

  4. 4

    Mix with Sauce

In a large bowl, mix the shredded pork with apple cider vinegar and barbecue sauce until well combined.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place a generous amount of the pulled pork mixture on the bottom half of each bun, add a slice of American cheese, top with red onion and pickles, and cover with the top half of the bun.
