Mashed Potatoes

    Prepare the Potatoes

    Place the chopped potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Cook the Potatoes

    Cook the potatoes for 15-20 minutes or until they are fork-tender. Drain the water and return the potatoes to the pot.

    Mash and Season

    Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper to the drained potatoes. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Green Bean Casserole

    Prepare the Green Beans

    If using fresh green beans, wash and trim the ends. Steam or blanch them until tender but still crisp.

    Mix Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

    Bake the Casserole

    Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with French fried onions. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Stuffing

    Sauté Vegetables

    In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and celery, sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.

    In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Pour in chicken broth and mix until evenly moistened.

    Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
