Prepare Hibiscus
In a medium saucepan, combine the dried hibiscus flowers and 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add Spices
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and add the cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise. Simmer for about 15 minutes.

Strain the Mixture
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a pitcher to remove the hibiscus flowers and spices.

Cool Down
Let the hibiscus water cool to room temperature. If desired, refrigerate for a chilled drink.

Pour the hibiscus water into glasses. Serve chilled over ice, if preferred, and enjoy!
