Base Lemonade Preparation

Juicing the Lemons
Cut the fresh lemons in half and juice them until you have 1 cup of lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp if desired.

Making the Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Combining Ingredients
In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to mix.
Flavoring the Lemonade

Charcoal Lemonade
Add 1 tsp of charcoal powder to the base lemonade. Stir until fully dissolved and serve over ice.

Peach Lemonade
Blend 1 cup of diced peaches with a little water until smooth. Strain, then add the peach puree to the base lemonade and stir well.

Rosemary Lemonade
Add 2 tbs of finely chopped rosemary to the base lemonade. Stir well and let it infuse for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Strawberry Lemonade
Blend 1 cup of hulled and sliced strawberries with a little water until smooth. Strain, then add the strawberry puree to the base lemonade and stir well.

Mango Ginger Lemonade
Blend 1 cup of diced mango with 1 tbs of grated ginger and a little water until smooth. Strain, then add the mango-ginger puree to the base lemonade and stir well.
