Method

Preparation of Topping

  1. 1

    Dice the Tomatoes

Wash the tomatoes and remove the stems. Dice them into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Chop the Basil

Wash the basil leaves, pat dry, and chop them roughly. Add the chopped basil to the bowl with the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic

Peel and mince the garlic cloves. Add them to the tomato and basil mixture.

  4. 4

    Season the Mixture

Add salt and black pepper to the mixture, adjusting to taste. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and gently toss to combine all the ingredients.

Grilling the Bread

  1. 5

    Prepare the Baguette

Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 6

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to enhance flavor and prevent sticking.

  3. 7

    Grill the Bread

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Place the bread slices on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and crispy.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Top the Bread

Remove the grilled bread from the heat. Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto each slice.

  2. 9

    Drizzle with Balsamic Glaze

For an extra touch of flavor, drizzle a little more balsamic glaze over the topped bruschetta.

  3. 10

    Serve Immediately

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is warm and enjoy!
